I thought manage to go before the season but nope. I stayed at Aonang Buri Resort because one of cheapest and good for what we paid. A bit far from town but the good thing is no so noisy because of all the tourist and near the place to go for island hopping. Island hopping suppose to be the best experience there but because of raining, it a bit unsatisfying. Even raining, being there is still priceless because we can cross 2 island where from our left and right side there wave from ocean. It like crossing land between two sea and the sad part is i cannot that the marvellous picture of it. You can try google the image for island hopping at krabi but as i already tried none of a good picture that i found to link it here for easy to see. The island hopping was really cheap if you want to go by longtail boat that is around RM45 per person (us dollar around $15). You can enjoy the view while on the boat. Other option is by speedboat that cost around RM100 (us dollar around $30). These option for people that doesn't want wasting time on boat and maybe have seasick. Other thing include in this island hoping almost the same, go to 4 island, snorkeling, visit point of interest for each island.
So for the picture, i just upload couple of it (because of my not that skill enough and raining days).

This is picture when riding on tuk-tuk (tricycle type) to go to the market on of course raining day. The 450D will become my second body. Before buying this i already tried the DSLR when tag along with my friend to wedding event he been hired. I got to try 7D with Tokina 11-16mm 2.8f and it was superb. First thing that i notice and it was a good feature is button at your thumb AF-ON can use as to focus the lens and the shutter button for direct taking picture. When you use different button it make taking picture more faster rather than normal half press shutter button to focus then full press to take picture. I didn't know about this and it actually can be done on my 450D also...geezz....how noob i am. So if u also want to try this on your 450D, this how it work, first go to menu > C. Fn IV Shutter button / AE lock button. I choose AE lock/AF. It work when u push button at your thumb that have this * icon it will trigger auto focus. When you want to take picture just press shutter button. If you want to lock the exposure first, aim your focus to what exposure you want to lock and half press shutter button, recompose and full press to snap the picture. For me, by doing this setup you can learn and understanding more about how to not miss moment you want to shoot, exposure lock for taking picture like silhouette and compose the picture.

Okay back to 7D, second thing I like is able to change White Balance using kelvin from range 2500 - 10000 K and we can see it change real time at liveview. With this we don't need to test shoot couple of time to get what's the right White balance that we want (this also can apply when recording vidz). That was what I found for now and what I need is bigger CF card with high speed for the recording HD video and preparation for vacation to Krabi, Thailand.

My EOS 450D

After send it to canon service center for this problem, they clean the sensor but the sad part is it is not dust on the sensor but fungus. To change the APS-C sensor the quote price will be 1k plus and that make me said "double u. ti. af", better buy other dslr than change the sensor. So right now i need to bear that smug when i take picture whether by healing brush the picture or crop it until have enough money to buy 60D...or maybe 600D. i need to do more research for this two dslr. I just bought a YongNuo YN468 speedlite at the price of RM 360. The detail about this product is here. Buying this speedlite also because lack of money T_T. But by having this speedlite i want to learn taking photo using flash so that i can generate some income from taking maybe wedding shoot. To get experience, first i need to tag along with the OP of the wedding. Tag along most of the time you don't get money but the experience is what i looking for. I will have annual dinner from the company i'm working with and that i think will be the first experiment for me to use flash on people. Why i said that? because I already using the flash for bugs with my DIY snoot. Later on I will show my DIY snoot (how I made it and how it look like) and couple of bugs sample picture by using it.

                            picture from http://www.lightingrumours.com

p/s - if someone wonder the bugs picture that already inside my flickr, it from a program call "a day with a pro - macro shoot" from Digital SLR magazine and i one of the lucky person being selected. Even though this is like an old model and bought it second hand, it still have a good specification and for beginner like me with no money or you can say already broke after buying this DSLR (T_T).

Started my search with this website such as lowyat forum, www.mudah.my and www.mylensdb.com with my budget price. I just found out about mylensdb when reading someone thread in lowyat forum and all i can say it a good website. You not just can seek info about DLSR kind of stuff, but it also directly show couple of online store and price list of the stuff that you are searching for and also the price in RM, so easy for you to estimate your own budget and also to estimate the second hand price like me. One more thing that i like about this website is u can see picture taken by people(thumbnail display with exif info from flickr) using the thing that we looking for. This features can also support more toward your decision because you know the thing you want to buy can take that kind of pictures or pictures that u imagine u gonna snap. Back to the story...

After i got list down couple of model and give a thought, I choose EOS 450D , then i read the review on this model in www.dpreview.com for more detail (DSLR still new thing for me, so there lot thing that i didn't really understand what they talking about in here). Specification comparison, pictures example with different setting and pros and cons what i focus the most. Finally got my Canon EOS 450D with EF-S 18-55mm IS, Hoya 58mm PL-CIR Polarizing filter, Hoya 58mm Pro1 Digital MC UV filter, 4Gb Sandisk Extreme III SDHC card and EOS DLSR bag for RM 1.5k

After getting used to the DSLR, now I already feel like need other lens...zzz. more lens = more money T_T

What I'm interested is to shoot portrait, macro, HDR(3 exposure shot using AEB and combine with software) and landscape. I'm thinking of getting Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II for starter. Because of my poor condition, even though this lens is the cheapest among lens, still I'm looking for second hand that the price should be RM 200.

All my pictures will be uploaded in my flickr.

got some problem with my dslr...see the picture below...someone do give an idea or solution.

My Omnia 2 (I8000)

Omnia 2 (I8000) Specifications taken from www.gsmarena.com

General

2G Network

GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900

3G Network

HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100

Announced

2009, June

Status

Available. There are a way to make it work by using registry. See here.
If you want to use window default threaded sms, you can see here. It has good tutorial on enable window sms threaded and also how to change window default skin. Tried this before but i still not really meet my satisfaction.
Right now im using SMS-Chat, with this i can easily get rid of sms notification and when you receive sms, it automatically pop up it own notification so that notification from window will be disable and you can click that pop up to go directly to SMS-Chat. It threaded sms with smiley support. The downside is it cannot use mms. you need to use default window sms to send mms.

Increasing my volume sound using this guide here.
I will add more on what i customize with my omnia 2

For now if u need more info can go check at www.samsung-omnia.org on how to user manual, www.modaco.com omnia 2 tweaks, flash, guide, suggested programs and faq and forum.xda-developers.com for omnia 2

My screen shot

7 Best Stress-Fighting Foods

This article was taking from Yahoo!
