[Tips and Trick] Lenovo Ideapad y510p SLI - Touchpad double tap

People who familiar with new Synaptic touchpad will be frustrated with this Lenovo touchpad that using Elan software for the touchpad. In Synaptic, to right click using touchpad you just need double tap but in Elan, you need to double press the touchpad until it click and that make it hard to get it right because you need the clicking really at the same time. I try to find setting in Elan software regarding the tap function but it seem their don't have it. I know this is just software limitation because early version of Synaptic software at my previous laptop also don't and cannot use two finger scroll or tap etc2 and later on after updated to new version, all of the function I stated can be used.

[Tips and Trick] Lenovo Ideapad y510p SLI - Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 problem

Recently I just bought a laptop model Lenovo Ideapad y510p SLI US version. The reason I don't buy same model at my own country that is Malaysia because of couple of reason. First let me tell you benefit buying from local version. It will give you 2 years warranty and I cannot get the detail information regarding whether the first years will be international warranty from their website. If you bought from local maybe you can check by yourself at this link. All you need is to input your serial number that is on the back of your laptop.

Ok now I want to tell about the benefit from buying US version. First of all, it is cheaper but a lot of seller like to jack up the price. Second, it got 24Gb SSD and it use for Solid State cache. Generally speaking it to speed up your HDD boot and application speed. As for now if you need more explanation regarding caching, you can read here. Later on I will make my own easy to understand article regarding the caching.

[TIPS] Use your uploaded picture at Facebook to your blog

This is just the method I use if I want to post picture to my blog, forum etc. Hope it useful to other people as well. I think for me this to reduce hassle from need to upload first to image hosting then use it at blog or something. First you will see would it be just the same amount of work because upload at someplace(facebook, image hosting) first then use at other place (blog, forum) right? Well for me it not the same because you always want to share something interesting as soon as possible to facebook to let your friends know right? So it like the photo will be there automatically without you realize it...lol.

Ok now let go to the part to use the photo on facebook at other place. First as we already know, the

[TIPS] Shoot macro cheaper way

Generally common people think that to shoot macro you need to have macro lens. Here I want to share my setup to shoot macro as some people already know that there are many cheap ways to shoot macro and some really need effort to do it like DIY snort, reverse lens, reverse lens + another lens etc.
Mine was like this, DSLR body + Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II + Raynox DCR-250 that all. Rough cost DSLR body (whatever that you already have), Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II (MYR 300), Raynox DCR-250 (MYR 250). I think for 50mm lens many people already have it, so left only Raynox DCR-250. Hmmm...some people think I miss something right..? yes...a light source. For this I only use built in flash...wait...what? It will be harsh light and maybe not light up the subject properly (people murmuring all over and hope I have good explanation). Sure we need to diffuse the light and I only use an A4 paper. Many people do familiar with combo speedlight + DIY snort right? Speedlight = more cost to buy it and to DIY the snort, some people already give up to try shoot macro while trying to DIY snort (yup it happen to me...)

Krabi Island Vacation

After long time didn't update my blog because lack of motivation of no people really find my page useful...hihu~
So im going to talk about my vacation to Krabi, Thailand. not really got timing going there because at that time monsoon season just started. I thought manage to go before the season but nope. I stayed at Aonang Buri Resort because one of cheapest and good for what we paid. A bit far from town but the good thing is no so noisy because of all the tourist and near the place to go for island hopping. Island hopping suppose to be the best experience there but because of raining, it a bit unsatisfying. Even raining, being there is still priceless because we can cross 2 island where from our left and right side there wave from ocean. It like crossing land between two sea and the sad part is i cannot that the marvellous picture of it. You can try

My New Gear - Canon EOS 7D

Just got this recently and also bought second hand...see how poor i am? The 450D will become my second body. Before buying this i already tried the DSLR when tag along with my friend to wedding event he been hired. I got to try 7D with Tokina 11-16mm 2.8f and it was superb. First thing that i notice and it was a good feature is button at your thumb AF-ON can use as to focus the lens and the shutter button for direct taking picture. When you use different button it make taking picture more faster rather than normal half press shutter button to focus then full press to take picture. I didn't know about this and it actually can be done on my 450D also...geezz....how noob i am. So if u also want to try this on your 450D, this how it work, first go to
